KISS Announces Tour, Two Michigan Stops
Another major classic rock tour was announced today as KISS released details on their forthcoming "Freedom To Rock" Tour. According to kissonline.com, the tour begins July 7 in Boise, Idaho and has shows scheduled through September 10. This includes two Michigan stops in August: Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on August 13 and at Dow Events Center in Saginaw on August 15.
Making the rounds with KISS will be the patchwork rock act Dead Daisies. The current touring lineup for KISS includes Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer on lead guitar, and Eric Singer on drums.
KISS hasn't played at Van Andel Arena since 2003, according to the Van Andel Arena website. Tickets for the Grand Rapids show go on sale Monday, April 18 through Ticket Master.
Tickets for the Dow Events Center Show go on sale Friday, April 15 at 12:00PM. According to the event center's website, KISS hasn't played inside the Wendler Arena in 28 years.
Ticket prices for both shows are $39.50, $89.50, and $125.
