KISS visited Cadillac High School 40 years ago after hearing that the school's football team had a winning season the year before after they started playing KISS music in the locker room before the game. The band rode in the homecoming parade, performed in the school gym and made a dramatic exit from the city by departing from the football field in a helicopter.

To commemorate the visit, the city had a little party this past weekend, officially unveiling the new granite monument near the Cadillac High School football stadium.KISS rode in the homecoming parade, performed in the school gym and left from the football field in a helicopter.

TV 9 & 10 has video here of the unveiling - no, those are not the real members of KISS. They 'weren't available' for the festivities.
