We're almost a week into April, but it still feels like January.

And tonight, it'l expected to look like January.

The National Weather Service forecasts 1 to 3 inches of snow for the Lansing area tonight. Snowfall is expected to begin after sundown, and temperatures topping out in the low-30s will help create icy and/or slushy roadways.

The impending snowfall has caused the NWS to place much of the southern half of the Lower Peninsula (including Clinton, Eaton and Ingham counties) under a winter weather advisory from 10 p.m. tonight to 11 a.m. Friday. Forecasters say to plan on poor road conditions and visibility.
