WalletHub has released its 2019 List of Best State Capitals To Live In. And, Michigan's capital city didn't fare so well.

WalletHub based its list on the following factors: Affordability, Economic Well-Being, Quality of Education and Health, and Quality of Life. Topping the list at number one this year is Austin, Texas. Boise, Idaho, Raleigh, North Carolina, Madison, Wisconsin, and Lincoln, Nebraska round out the top five.

Meanwhile, Lansing comes in ranked Number 32. Lansing is listed as the 17th most affordable capital city in the country. But, 31st in Economic Well-being, 33rd in Quality of Education, and 36th in Quality of Life. Lansing is also tied for 44th with Juneau, Alaska and Trenton, New Jersey for unemployment rate; and tied for 45th with Tallahassee, Florida for population percentage in poverty.
