The Lansing Lugnuts have opened their box office for the 2017 season as of Monday morning. Fans can start purchasing their tickets for select days of their choice, including LAFCU Fireworks nights, the Fourth of July game and fireworks show, and the Crosstown Showdown.

Get the Crosstown Showdown tickets early. Prices go up each month by one dollar the closer we get to the September date.Those tickets are just $10 through the end of April, $11 in May, $12 in June, so on and so forth.

Lugnuts management are introducing some new features this season, including a block party on Opening Day Saturday, April 8 on Michigan Avenue between Cedar and Larch Streets. The party starts that day at 3:00 PM with the team being officially introduced and signing autographs; local high school band drum lines will be competing against each other in a battle, interactive games, and live music from Global Village will lead up to the 6:05 PM first pitch.

Also new this year are the Dog Days of Summer. Every Monday throughout the season, dogs will be allowed to attend games with their families.

Returning favorites include Labatt Thirsty Thursdays, the Memorial Day Barbecue, Delta Dental Kids Day on Fathers' Day when kids can play catch with dad on the field at Cooley Law School Stadium and run the bases, Jimmy Buffett night, and yes, Myron Noodleman will make a return to Lansing.
