Townsquare Media - Lansing and the Lansing Lugnuts have formally announced a new partnership that will bring WMMQ listeners closer to the heart of minor league baseball in the capital city.

Our sister station, The Game 730AM WVFN, will serve as the new flagship station for Lansing Lugnuts baseball. Fans can tune in to hear 129 Lugnuts games this season. But, WMMQ listeners will get their chance to score free tickets throughout the season, and are invited to visit the box office at Cooley Law School Stadium to purchase tickets for games and special events.

Opening Day will be one of the most exciting ever in Lugnuts history as the Great Lakes Loons come into town on Saturday, April 8. The Lugnuts will be closing off Michigan Avenue through the Stadium District for a block party from 3:00PM-6:00PM, with first pitch at 6:05PM. Live music will be one of the key features as Lansing's own Global Village will perform.

The Lugnuts are planning a plethora of great promotions this season, including longtime fan favorites in LAFCU Fireworks Nights (17 in total) and Labatt Thirsty Thursdays, featuring $2 domestic beers and half-off craft beers.
