Take your pick - snow, rain or ice? Looks like you'll have all sorts of options this weekend and into Monday across Michigan's lower peninsula. Sigh.

Ingham, Eaton, Clinton, Ionia and Jackson Counties and beyond are in line for hazardous weather this weekend, whether it's high winds, 3-6" of blowing snow (possibly as much TEN INCHES in some place!), ice or significant rainfall, it's all in the mix. Look at those maps!

The National Weather Service says this for Friday through Wednesday:

A major storm system is expected to lead to a variety of impacts

mainly Friday night into Sunday. A wintry mix including freezing

rain along with strong gusty winds could lead to numerous power

outages...especially north of a Muskegon to Alma line. Impacts may

occur further south as well...especially if the storm trends

colder with time. As colder air wraps in behind the departing

storm...all areas are expected to see some snow mainly Sunday

night.

Rain could be heavy at times south of the wintry precipitation

and an elevated risk exists for flooding exists over the weekend.

Sigh.
