Lansing School District to Sell Eastern High School

The Lansing State Journal reports that the Lansing School Board voted unanimously last night to approve the sale of 18 acres of land that includes Lansing's Eastern High School to Sparrow for about $2.5 million dollars. The deal does not include the Don Johnson Fieldhouse and adjacent sporting fields.

Next up, Lansing Schools is proposing a $120 million millage in the May 3rd election to fund the construction needed to turn the current Pattengill Middle School into the new Eastern High School.
