In Lansing, it's no secret that we love our chain restaurants. Yet, we've been denied the likes of Sonic, Hardee's, and Chick-fil-A fast food restaurants, despite watching the multitude of television advertisements that do nothing more than taunt our appetites. Well, fellow fast food junkies, we have a reason to smile a little more today.

According to the Lansing State Journal, Chick-fil-A is opening their first Lansing location in late 2016. It will go into a building on West Saginaw Highway in Delta Township that currently is home to Fazoli's. Chick-fil-A representatives have confirmed the news of the chain's arrival to Mid-Michigan. But, they would not confirm that a second location is being sought after in Meridian Township. Township officials told the State Journal that the franchise is looking into a front lot location at the Okemos Meijer store.
