Latest: Heroin Disguised As Pain Pills

The heroin epidemic that has spread across the nation - including here in Ingham County - has a new twist: dealers are selling what look like pain pills, but the pills actually contain heroin.

WCPO in Cincinnati has the story here of the latest threat on the streets.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report that Michigan is among states reporting a significant increase in opioid (prescription pain pills and heroin) overdoses.
