DailyMail.com reports that British researchers have concluded that taking a month-long break from drinking will benefit us tremendously later in life. They say that abstaining from alcohol for just a month creates staggering health benefits, such as healing your liver; lowering your blood pressure and cholesterol levels, while cutting weight and decreasing your risk for cancer and diabetes.

One of the scientists said if a drug that created these benefits, it would make billions of dollars in sales.

The study was conducted in January. Maybe I'll try February 2016 - it is a leap year, so there are 29 days this time.
