The Detroit Free Press is reporting that some Michigan residents may notice some military aircraft flying lower than normal next Tuesday. Officials from Selfridge Air National Guard Base announced that fighter and refueling planes will be conducting low-level flights that day over parts of the state, including Lansing, along with Downtown Detroit, the Detroit River, and the Mackinac Bridge.

According to the story, jets will be lower than normally seen during these flights. But, will be above the safety threshold set by the Federal Aviation Administration.

If you happen to capture some video or snapshots of the flights Tuesday, we'd love to see and share them here!!
