The Fall 2014 semester is about to begin at Michigan State University in East Lansing and with that comes a new crop of vehicles that will drop your jaw. For the most part, it's not the faculty driving the Porsches, Maseratis and Lamborghinis you can see around campus and East Lansing - it's the students.

This Lamborghini Gallardo (MSRP starts at $181,900) is likely going to be 'the star' of this year's new models.  I wonder how it handles in thew snow? And yes, the entire car is chromed.

My Honey is a bit of a gear-head, so he tends to take notice of really fine autos. He says the Gallardo is the most stunning model he's spotted around here yet.  A Ferrari F 12 (lists about $319,000) was the second most impressive on his 'top-five' list, followed by a McLaren (around $283,000) in third place; the Audi R8 was a close 4th and an AMG Mercedes Benz SL roadster rounds out the top five.

Instead of dreaming about driving a car like that, I'll go with this theory:

“The things you own end up owning you. It's only after you lose everything that you're free to do anything.”
