Major East Lansing Road Set To Close

Another major construction project is about to add frustration for some local commuters. WILX.com is reporting that Harrison Road will be closed to traffic between Lake Lansing Road and Saginaw Street beginning Monday, June 20.

If you travel on Abbot Road in East Lansing frequently, expect heavier traffic, more delays, and more drivers unable to properly operate their vehicle at the Abbot/Saginaw stoplight. The posted detour for Harrison Road will direct traffic your way.

And, don't expect this to be a short project. Completion date is targeted for August 19.
