Major Meltdown: Hall of Famer Ernie Els 6 Putts First Hole at Masters

I am not taking pleasure in the pain of others. I am amazed, I had never seen a 6 putt at The Masters before... Neither had the Masters. In the 80 years of the tournament, no one has taken a higher score during tournament play than Ernie Els.

I have 4 putted before and felt horrible. I can't imagine doing in front of thousands of people and millions watching at home. It goes to show you we are all human.

Ernie Els is a World Golf Hall of Famer. Since switching from the belly putter he has had his share of "yips." He has won 4 majors and has 19 tour victories. He finished with an 8-over-par 80 and is tied for 81st.
