WLNS.com reports that a man is in custody Thursday morning following the robbery of a gas station in south Lansing.

According to the report, a 50-year-old man was arrested after allegedly robbing the Speedway gas station on South Martin Luther King Boulevard, near I-96. The man indicated he had a weapon and fled in a semi truck with trailer eastbound on I-96.

Law enforcement officials apparently sighted the truck near Webberville nearly 20 minutes later. The truck was pulled over. A cash box that the suspect made away with was recovered during the arrest.
