Man Sets Girlfriend’s House on Fire

Another fine example of the classiness we find in some individuals in Mid-Michigan is reported by WILX.com. A 48-year-old man is now in the Jackson County Jail, accused of intentionally lighting his girlfriend's Hanover Township home on fire.

Authorities say that the couple was arguing Wednesday night when the man threatened to douse her home with gasoline and light it on fire. He allegedly followed through on his threat.

Firefighters showed up to the home around 7:00pm Wednesday and battled the fire for hours. Despite the home being a total loss, nobody was injured. The accused was apprehended on the scene.
