March Magic is taking center stage in East Lansing as the MHSAA Basketball Championships head to the Jack Breslin Student Events Center. The Girls' Semifinals take place this Thursday, March 17 and Friday, March 18, with championship games on Saturday. Next week, the Boys' Championship Weekend will follow the same format with Semifinals Thursday, March 24 and Friday, March 25; Championships on Saturday.

A yearly tradition returns as well, in conjunction with the Boys' Championship Weekend. Admission is $2 per visitor, or free with an MHSAA Championship Weekend ticket.

Visitors can take a trip through the Walk of History, a look back at the decades of great March Magic that has made the MHSAA Championship Weekend so special. There's a skill zone for kids, visitors can take their chance at a half court shot, play around the world, and watch competitors go head to head in 3-point shootout challenges and slam dunk competitions.

Local youth teams can sign up to compete in full court 5-on-5 games. Kids Clinics are also being offered. For all of those details on how to participate, visit this link to the March Magic Hoopfest website.
