The Lansing State Journal reports that the State Dept of Licensing and Regulatory affairs did a 180 yesterday regarding medical marijuana dispensaries. Back in September, the agency ruled that dispensaries were going to have to close by the middle of December and apply for a license. If a dispensary didn’t close, they would risk their chance to procure one of the more lucrative licenses. The shift reportedly came after significant input from medical marijuana cardholders who were concerned that they wouldn’t have access to treat their maladies.
