The inspiring life of Princess Lacey Holsworth will be celebrated tonight at the Breslin Center. The family is asking people wear bright colors and smiles to celebrate Lacey's life.

The eight-year-old from St. Johns died last week after a long battle with neuroblastoma, a rare type of cancer. Along the way she touched many lives and inspired millions. Her death hit the area hard last week for those who know the legend.

Lacey Holsworth's memorial is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Breslin Center on MSU's campus.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. Parking is free.

Lacey got to see the slam dunk contest a week before she passed.

Princess Lacey only lived 8 years but she did more in 8 years than most do in a lifetime.
