Back in 1977 ( ! was 9 when it was released), America was taken by storm with a movie the likes had never been seen before. Shortly followed by a marketing campaign that would eventually become the largest franchise of it's kind.

You couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting some Star Wars action figure. Followed by closely by collectors glasses from Burger King (Empire Strikes Back), bed sheet sets, pajamas, lunch boxes, etc.

And the money making machine does not stop there! WIth promises of a new episode forthcoming, the stores are filled with armies of Darth Vader figures waiting to be brought home. So fear not, you will never run out of gifts for the Star Wars geek in your life!
