Late Late Show host James Corden is spinning off his popular "Carpool Karaoke" segment into its own series, which aired its debut trailer during the Corden-hosted Grammy Awards last night. As the clip made clear, Corden's lined up an eclectic array of guests for the show, including Metallica, Alicia Keys and Ariana Grande.

As reported last year, Carpool Karaoke: The Series is being rolled out in partnership with Apple Music, where episodes will premiere exclusively through the tech giant's streaming service. No debut date has been announced, though judging from the flurry of faces glimpsed in the commercial, they've already taped several segments.

Metallica appear in the commercial alongside Billy Eichner, known for his Billy on the Street series, as well as his appearances on Parks and Recreation and his co-starring role alongside Julie Klausner on Hulu's Difficult People. As fans of the band may recall, the group was glimpsed with Eichner late last year, during the taping of what was assumed to be a segment for an appearance for Billy on the Street.

That bit, which found Metallica singing "Enter Sandman" with grocery store employees, was apparently only the first reported collaboration between Eichner and the band, as he's seen sitting in the car with them in the clip. Also making appearances: Will Smith (who appears with Corden, who will reportedly only be an occasional on-camera presence), John Cena and Shaquille O'Neal.

Metallica have a busy spring and summer scheduled in support of their recent Hardwired... to Self-Destruct album. The band will embark on a 25-date North American tour starting May 10. Take a look at the complete list of announced shows.
