I came across an article this afternoon on mlive.com about a Holland brewer who is upset with a message conveyed in Chrysler's Super Bowl commercial featuring Bob Dylan. He points out a very valid contention.

As Chrysler was trying to convey a message to let Detroit build America's autos, they took an interesting path by tolerating the import of other products...including beer! I can understand where that wouldn't settle with folks in a state becoming well-known for it's microbreweries. Ironically, it's the same state, ours, Michigan, that the car company was trying to instill support to.

After reading the article, I remember noticing the very same thing as I watched the ad. But, the second thought of that detail didn't exist until now. Maybe some things are just better left unsaid?
