Michigan Free Fishing Weekend Is Set!
During the course of the year, the Michigan DNR sets dates for Michigan anglers to go out and enjoy it's amazing fishery without the need of a license. Giving people the opportunity to explore the sport without the commitment of the licensing costs.Keep in mind that size and catch limits will be strictly enforced!
Not only does this give you the opportunity to fish without a license, it gives you a prime chance to take a new angler out and get them caught up in the excitement that millions already enjoy!
The winter weekend in February was met with some difficulties because of warmer temperatures. The next date is set for June 10 and 11, 2017 and will give even more anglers the chance to wet a line.
