The Detroit Free Press reports that on the morning of October 2nd, 38 year old lifelong golfer Mark Hosch of Canton was playing Cattails Golf Club in South Lyon with three friends when he sank a hole-in-one. Hosch has been golfing since he was 8 years old and that's the third ace of his three decades in the sport.

No use in stopping while you're on a roll.

Hosch was talking with his brother about his victorious morning later that day when talk turned to archery season, which was underway here in Michigan. He decided to get out in the field that afternoon.

He harvested an 8 point buck in Washtenaw County that same day.

Hosch didn't mention if he bought any lottery tickets that day, or if the fortune of the day was enough.
