Michigan Man Stole State Trooper Cruiser Sunday Morning

MLive.com reports state police in the West Branch post got a call about someone driving a golf cart on the road around 4:00 yesterday morning with no head lights in Tawas. Once they got there, police arrested 24 year old Phillip Everett of Greenbush, MI. Everett somehow made his way behind the wheel of the patrol car and sped away. The crashed cop car was found about 20 miles away; Everett did not survive the wreck.

Authorities are still investigating how that played out.
