The Big Ten race is still up for grabs this season but Michigan State is looking towards playing in another big tournament next season.

According to the press release from the Maui Invitational, Michigan State will be one of the teams to participate in the 36th annual tournament.  The tournament this year will be on November 25th to November 27th in Maui, Hawaii.

Joining Michigan State will be the tournament host Chaminade as well as BYU, Dayton, Georgia, Kansas, UCLA and Virginia Tech.

Michigan State has won this tournament once before and this will be their 4th appearance in Maui.

They will once again play Kansas who beat them in their first game this season.   They will also play UCLA who they beat earlier this year in Las Vegas.

Michigan State still has some work to do this season as they have five games remaining in the regular season.   Two of those five are against Michigan.
