I Don't know if people are afraid to jinx the current winning streak Michigan State football is on? But after Friday's win over Jacksonville State, the Spartans have the second longest winning streak in major college football, currently at 11 straight. Only National Champion Florida State has more consecutive victories with 17.

The Last time MSU lost was at Notre Dame September 21, 2013.

Saturday's showdown in Oregon will let us know if we can compete with the nation's elite and compete for a National Championship.

Expectations are higher than ever for Spartan fans. I believe they can beat Oregon by playing Spartan football. Oregon has never been hit like they will be hit Saturday. Even the MSU secondary tackles hard. If they can keep the big plays to a minimum, I see MSU winning 38-30.

I also believe this could be the most important game MSU has played in my lifetime. We are ranked #6 right now. A loss wouldn't drop us so far in the rankings, losing to such a high ranked team. So, even if MSU loses Saturday, they still have an outside chance to get to the first National Championship Tournament.

The Spartans have NOTHING to lose and EVERYTHING to gain. There has NEVER been a better time to be a Spartan Football fan. They should start work on the Mark Dantonio statue now. Go Green!
