It's been feeling a lot like Spring here in mid-Michigan with temperatures in the 40s. In the middle of January.

If you've left the house in the past couple of weeks and driven around greater Lansing, likely you've noticed that the monster potholes have sprung up, the likes of which we typically get in Springtime around here.

The wild temperature swings (and our already crumbling roads) can be blamed.

If you slam into a pothole beast, you can call the City of Lansing's 'Pothole Hotline' at 517-483-4161.

WILX TV reports that Lansing residents can also report potholes by using the "Lansing Connect" app for smartphones. The app allows you to also upload a picture or video.
