WILX.com is reporting that the Center for Disease Control is urging all Americans to throw away any romaine lettuce in the kitchen.

There have been more reports of E. Coli contamination related to romaine lettuce. However, tracing the actual source of contamination is proving to be a challenge. As a result, the CDC urges consumers to err on the side of caution and not consume any amount of romaine lettuce from any source. And, also, do not buy any romaine lettuce that is currently available on store shelves and in restaurants.

There have been 32 cases of people getting sick reported in 11 states, Michigan included. CDC officials also urge people to properly clean and sanitize any areas where lettuce has been stored.
