MSU/Penn State Blood Battle Begins

If you're in the giving mood, and you want to help your Michigan State Spartans beat Penn State, roll up your sleeve and donate some blood! WLNS.com reports that the annual blood battle between the Big Ten rivals is underway for its 22nd consecutive year.

Each year, the schools team up to help the American Red Cross with blood donations. They make it fun, asking fans and supporters to donate in the name of their favorite college football team. MSU needs some help catching PSU in the all time records...Penn State has raised more donations over the years, winning 14 of the 22 battles. MSU has won 8.

Donations for the competition will be accepted through November 20.
