WLNS.com reports that another administrative hurdle has been cleared when it comes to the Detroit Pistons' move to Downtown Detroit. The NBA Board of Governors has given their official blessing on team's departure from Auburn Hills after 29 seasons.

Plans for the Pistons' relocation were announced in November 2016. But, legal challenges, additional funding for Little Caesars Arena, and political checks and balances have shown the resistance of some.
