New Lansing Star Bails Out Common Ground Opener

Well, classic rockers, you should know who Joshua Davis is. After all, he and his band Steppin' In It have been rocking Lansing bars and venues for years...including the blues and rock friendly Green Door Lounge. If you missed his wild success on NBC's The Voice last season, you have a chance to see him ring in Common Ground Tuesday Night.

Pop singer Meagan Trainor was forced to cancel her opening night performance after suffering a hemorrhage on her vocal cords. So, according to the Lansing City Pulse, Davis has been tapped as Common Ground's Mighty Mouse. He will save the day as the headliner on stage at Adado Riverfront Park for opening night, and maybe, just maybe, give classic rock fans a chance to actually go see a show for the first time in three years.
