It all depends on whom you're asking the question.  We visited my sister and her family on Christmas Day, where we got to see their newest addition.  No, not a baby.  A tractor.  Backhoe and front-end loader included.  My brother-in-law and nine year old nephew are THRILLED.  My nephew has already learned to drive it AND use the attachments - quite well, thank you.  My sister, however, points out that the designated budget for the tractor 'addition' was actually supposed to be used for new kitchen countertops, which were promised to her ten years ago when they built their home.  Since they saved money by doing a good deal of the 'finish work' on the house themselves, they went 'lower-end' on the countertops than she'd hoped and they made a deal that in ten years, the countertops get upgraded.  So, this is apparently what new countertops look like, depending on which universe you travel.

I reminded her that her husband DID sell his Harley several years ago to buy carpet for the basement.  She failed to say, "good point!"...
