Numerous Memorial Parades and Celebrations in Mid-Michigan

Not everybody uses Memorial Day weekend as a chance to get away up north. So, for those of you sticking around Mid-Michigan this weekend, there are lots of celebrations, parades, services and 5K events taking place.

The Lansing State Journal has listed 16 of these events for Memorial Day, including parades in Charlotte, Dansville, DeWitt, Eaton Rapids, Holt, Mason, Nashville, St. Johns, Stockbridge, Webberville, and Williamston, all on Monday. Memorial services willl also be held in Okemos and Haslett. Dimondale will have a chicken barbecue. And webberville is also putting on a 5K run.
