Okemos Restaurant Closes Without Notice

The Lansing State Journal reports that the Ruby Tuesday chain restaurant in Meridian Mall closed last week without even giving notice to mall management. If you have a Ruby Tuesday gift card, you're going to need to make a road trip to use it at one of these other Michigan locations. You might want to call ahead before making the trip.

The LSJ reports that while one eatery closed in Meridian Township, another will be opening soon at the site of the former Gilbert & Blake's Seafood and Steak Grille on Okemos Road, just north of Jolly Road. Taking its place will be Lucky's Steakhouse, which is a chain that started with one location in Davison in 1998; WMMQ Midday Host Duran Martinez has been raving for quite some time about his trips to Lucky's Steakhouse in Davison.

It sounds like Lucky's Steakhouse in Okemos will open by September 20th.
