I am sure someone in the Miami Heat organization will be getting fired for this. Last night the National Anthem singer for the Heat-76ers game took a knee at half-court, displayed a "Black Lives Matter" shirt and did the National Anthem. Click here to see the full story.

I believe if you don't like what others are doing during the Anthem, you should focus on the flag. Like Buddy the Elf, the best way to spread American cheer is to sing loud for everyone to hear. Seriously, what is worse? Someone kneeling during our anthem or innocent lives being taken?

It's not just black lives either and it's not on the other side of the world. Deven Guilford was a 17 year-old killed in Eaton County last year for basically flashing his lights at an officer. It's bit more complicated than that... Just like the Anthem kneel. Every time I see someone kneel, I think of that kid and thankful conversation has started. I wish it was a more civilized conversation where people would consider if this happened to their family. I just appreciate we are allowed to have the conversation. Sing it loud. Sing it clear.

You can also speak with your vote. This trend won't die down soon. I suggest focusing on the flag and how good we have it.
