Pennies On The Freeway
In my life I have realized that picking pennies up off of the ground, is no inconvenience. It's extra exercise and it's one more cent away from being completely broke. So what happens when a truckload of pennies tips over on the freeway? Do you reach in the trunk for the shovel and and start loading?
A truck carrying blanks bound for the Philadelphia mint overturned on I-95 in Maryland early this morning, causing its load to spill and close down all lanes. Fortunately, the driver only suffered minor injuries and is OK. His rig on the other hand, did catch fire. As for the currency? They were not struck so there was no benefit to picking up what was dumped. Although I would be on the lookout for scrappers flooding the area like deer on a bait pile!
