Listen to New Pink Floyd Song, ‘Louder Than Words’
You can listen to 'Louder Than Words,' the only song on the album to feature a full vocal track, below. The remaining cuts on the album are mostly instrumental tracks pulled from the sessions for the group's last album, 1994's 'The Division Bell.'
'The Endless River' comes out on Nov. 10 and features contributions by guitarist David Gilmour (who provides the vocal on 'Louder Than Words'), drummer Nick Mason and late keyboardist Richard Wright, who passed away in 2008 and receives co-writing credit on the majority of the tracks.
The lyrics to 'Louder Than Words' were written by Gilmour's wife, Polly Samson. The song recalls cuts from 'The Division Bell,' particularly the album's closing song 'High Hopes.'
Gilmour recently announced that 'The Endless River' will be Pink Floyd's final album. “This is the last thing that’ll be out from us," he told BBC 6 Music. "I’m pretty certain that there will not be a follow-up to this.”
