Portions of Meridian Exempt From Boil Order

A water boil advisory is in effect for residents in East Lansing and Meridian Township, as reported earlier Friday. But, WLNS.com says that some Meridian Township residents may not need to worry about their water supply.

Apparently, residents in the extreme southern portions of Meridian are in what is known as the southern pressure zone, and shouldn't be affected by the boil advisory. The advisory is only in effect for the northern pressure zone which encompasses the majority of East Lansing and Meridian residents.
