Portland Driver Gets Stuck In Flood Waters
Storms wreaked havoc on Michigan Monday and early Tuesday, resulting in numerous confirmed tornadoes and several areas of flooding. Portland was one of the hardest hit areas after a Monday afternoon twister damaged building sand properties in town. A second wave of storms, though, early Tuesday morning sent one woman's trip to work down an uneasy path.
wlns.com reports a story about Mary Pline's venture to work early Tuesday morning. She hydroplaned on Charlotte Highway and found herself in a flooded field, where he car began to sink into the floodwaters. Pline was rescued without incident, but the 911 call footage demonstrates how intense the moments were for her before rescuers arrived.
