Potter Park Zoo Under Water, Again.

In the long running battle with the Grand River, Potter Park Zoo loses another battle with Mother Nature. Albeit a small battle, it still makes me raise an eyebrow every time we get torrential downpours that submerge the age old zoo located on Pennsylvania Avenue.

The most recent wet weather has closed the park and various parts of the city's River Trail for an amount of time to yet be determined.

So until we have a bit of a dry run, you may want to alter your plans until we get little more sunshine in the forecast.

Even Traeger Park across the street is under the high waters of the Grand as well.
