Radio Legend John Robinson Signing Books at Groovy Donuts in Williamston

My first FM radio job was at Oldies 97.5 here in Lansing. I went by Smokin' Joe back then. One of the first dudes I met was John Robinson. He was doing middays from 10-3pm. I had so many questions and he had all the answers. He is such a amazing teacher to the younger broadcasters and in my mind, one of things that make Lansing radio great. He always did his "Johnny's Trivia" on the air and that is what the book is based on.

Not only is he in radio, he is also an actor, pitchman and writer.

So, enough hero worship. Johnny will be at Groovy Donuts in Williamston this Saturday from 11am-1pm signing copies of his book "Johnny's Vintage Rock N' Roll Q&A. Plus, he hopes to have copies of his new book "Paranormal Michigan" if his copies arrive in time :)
