I missed MSU in Pasadena last year at the Rose Bowl. Watching that game on t.v. all I could think of was how cool it would have been to be there to see it in person. This year, the Spartans are headed to the Goodyear Cotton Bowl to play #5 Baylor. The Bears are pissed they got passed up by Ohio State to play in the first College Football Playoff. MSU wants to prove they belong by beating the up-tempo Bears. Should be a great game on New Year's Day. MSU can prove the Big 12 didn't belong in the playoff with a victory. If you are looking for tickets, get them from MSU by clicking here. You can get more info on the OFFICIAL BOWL TOUR and other MSU information.

Congratulations to Senior Wide Receiver Tony Lippett! He was voted the team's MVP by his teammates. He won the Governor's Award Sunday at the awards banquet. He said he voted for running back Jeremy Langford to win. That is a team player right there. He thanked his teammates who have seen the struggles and the ups and downs of his career at MSU. He also won the "Receiver of the Year" award in the Big 10. He became just the 8th Spartan receiver EVER to go over a thousand yards receiving in the regular season. He will be tough to replace next year.
