Ronnie Van Zant Vocal Track Going Viral

I'm bucking a couple of my own laurels today. Typically, I'm not one to jump on the day's hot trending topic and share it across cyberland. And, I'm not the biggest Lynyrd Skynyrd fan in the world. But, making the rounds today on social media sites is an undeniably great vocal track of the late, great Ronnie Van Zant belting out the vocal track to "Simple Man." I listened to it, and, frankly, got chills.

So, why is a video posted in 2009 making the rounds today? I have no idea, but I'm happy I listened to it. Dare I say, it made me regain an appreciation for what Van Zant and Skynyrd did before his untimely death?
