Scammers Are Claiming To Be East Lansing Police

WLNS.com reports that a new warning has been issued by the East Lansing Police Department regarding a phone scam.

According to the report, scammers are trying to trick people into giving them money by sending social media messages. The scammers are reportedly telling Facebook users that they are from East Lansing Police Department and telling users that they owe fines.
