Last month, we learned of a potential mold contamination at Lansing's Sexton High School that the Lansing School district says was contained and isolated, despite pictures shared with WLNS. Now, WLNS reports that there was other forms of contamination found throughout the building. food and drink stains were also found throughout the building, along with a four inch patch of mold on a single ceiling tile.

That moldy tile has been removed. Cleanup experts also recommend that the district address the food and drink stains, in addition to repairing damaged plaster, ceiling tiles and pipe insulation. The district said those recommendations will be handled before classes begin Friday morning.
