Fellow Corvette fans and gear-heads, be prepared for swollen tearducts!

Corvette enthusiasts know very well what separates Bowling Green, KY from other automotive cities, like Lansing. Sure, GM is moving the Camaro to local assembly plants sometime in late 2015 or early 2016, but Bowling Green, KY is home to the iconic Corvette. Not only is the car built there, it is also the home to The National Corvette Museum.  Get ready; here comes the big blow, Vette fans.

According to mlive.com, a sinkhole measuring 40-foot wide and 30-foot deep swallowed eight of the classic beauties housed in the museum early this morning; including two of General Motors’ most prized possessions that were on display: a 1993 ZR-1 Spyder and a 2009 ZR-1 Blue Devil. Once you check out the story link, you’ll see for yourself what created a sinkhole in my stomach today.
