We celebrate another Rock 'n' Roll birthday today! David Lee Roth is still "live and kicking" with Van Halen at age 60. Sure, there's been some ups and downs and tumultuous times between Roth and his VH band mates. But, after 2012's A Different Kind Of Truth, and its widely successful supporting tour, DLR and the Van Halen clan seem to have reinvigorated the VH trademark. We continue to hear rumblings of another new studio LP, leading us to believe that we may see a new album in 2015. And, after all, they're Van Halen...you have to assume that Alex, Eddie, Wolfgang, and Dave would hit the road again together. Of course, knowing the history, to put a lot of credence into those expectations may just be setting up the VH fan base for major disappointment.

Tonight, we'll celebrate David Lee Roth's birthday with three of his finest pieces of work. We'll do some of the original Van Halen with "Unchained", solo work with "Yankee Rose", and some of the later Van Halen with "Tattoo". It's tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot on 94.9 WMMQ!
