(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

We look back on another day in Rock 'n' Roll history tonight, going back to October 30, 1995. It was on this day that David Bowie learned he would be a member of the 11th class of Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductees. Bowie got the nod along with the likes of Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, and The Velvet Underground, among others for the Class of 1996. Bowie was fresh off his the success of his 1995 Outside LP, and had embarked on a supporting tour, with Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails in tow for support. It was a great show...from both acts. I was fortunate enough to have seen their show at The Palace of Auburn Hills on October 3, 1995.

Tonight, three from David Bowie. Tune in for "Rebel, Rebel", "Panic In Detroit", and "Suffragette City"...it's tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot on 94.9 WMMQ!
